
Forbes Africa has announced the nominees for their 2014 Person of the Year Award.
The list included 3 notable Nigerians – Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, world-renowned Nigerian author and Arunma Oteh, the director-general of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Also on the list are:
Thuli Madonsela, a South African advocate and the nation’s public protector who helped draft the country’s constitution in 1994 and
was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People this year;
•Donald Kaberuka, the Rwandan
economist who has ushered in significant change for the continent during his 10 years tenure as the president of the African Development Bank.
The award which seeks to reward “the individual who, for better or worse, has had the most influence on business on the year gone by” will take place on the 4th of December 2014.
