First Ebola Patient in Mali Is Dead

The first patient to be of contracting the deadly Ebola virus disease in Mali has been confirmed dead according to Mali’s government health officials. CNN reports that the victim, a 2-year old girl had traveled into the country from Guinea- one of the countries that has being hit hard by Ebola. More than 40 people are being monitored after coming into close contact with the initial victim.
